Software Engineer (Front-end Developer)

Parallax Technologies is a Sri Lanka based product development company who has clients in Sri Lanka, Dubai, UK & USA.

Responsibilities

Develop user interfaces for web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Collaborate with back end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Continuously research and implement best practices for front end development.
Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development and in production.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in front end development.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, Python, Java, or Node.js.
Experience with front end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Knowledge of responsive design principles and techniques.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine.
Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.
